Powers
Powers are the abilities that players can equip to use in the game for a strategic advantage.
There is a huge variety of powers and you can make endless combinations.
Unlocking powers
Powers are unlocked when you level up, you level up when you receive xp from crates.
Also play quickplay whenever you have free crate slots so you can earn new crates!
Equipping powers
By default you are able to equip two powers.
You can equip powers by dragging any of your powers in the power library to your selection in the up or down slot.

Power variants
There are 4 categories of powers which all have their own color and they all have different mechanics.
- Blue - passives
These powers mostly help you to survive longer.
They do not allow you to steal points with the exception of shield.
Most of these blue powers also have a decent defense value. - Purple - shots
Most of the shots will fire a bullet / projectile when activated.
When the projectile hits an opponent you will steal some of their points.
There is also the purple zap power which deals damage in an area of effect.
And there is the laser which shoots a laser beam across the map. - Red - bombs / mines
Bombs and mines can be thrown on the field and when they explode they will destroy the lines.
These can also be used for survival as you can create more space and gaps in lines for pathfinding.
The mines will explode when an opponent hits them.
The trigger bomb has to be activated to make it explode and the time bomb will explode after a short delay.
Bombs and mines also have an attack stat so when they explode when a player is on top of them you steal some of their points. - Green - fevers
Fevers can be thrown on the field just like bombs and mines but they do not explode.
When a player hits a fever they will receive some negative effect and this is different for each fever.
Fevers also have an attack stat so when players hit them you steal some of their points.
Power stats
You can click on any of the powers in the power library to see their stats.
For attacking powers you will see the steal percentage and for the passive survival powers you will see the protects percentage.
Additionally most powers have a cooldown.
Most powers also have unique stats for example the bullet size and speed or the effect duration.

Attack vs defense
Powers can have both attack and defense stats.
The amount of points you will steal when you attack an opponent depends on both of these stats.
If a player has a high defense you will steal less points and if you have a high attack you will steal more points.
The attack percentage is different for each power and you can see the percentage when you click on any power.
Your defense is calculated based on the multiplied value of your equipped powers, some powers have more defense than others.
The formula to calculate the points stolen is `points * attack * ((1 - defense up) * (1 - defense down))` As an example if the target has 100 points, you hit him with homing which has 8.6% steal and he has homing (0% defense) and jump (7% defense). The formula for the points you steal would be `100 * 0.086 * ((1 - 1) * (1 - 0.07))` so you would steal 8 points since the points stolen are rounded up.Power activation
You can activate powers with your configured key binds in the settings menu.
By default it would be the up and down arrow key or W
for up and S
for the power on your down slot.
Power cooldowns
All powers have a activation cooldown this means you can not use the same power twice in a row.
You have to wait for the cooldown to finish before you can use the power again.
At the start of the match all powers of all players will have an initial cooldown as well.
In game you will see the two icons for your equipped powers and they will slowly fill to white during the cooldown.
When the cooldown is finished you will see them pop and they will be completely filled / white.
