Quickplay vs Customs

In quickplay, you are queued up against 5 other players in a 6 player room with the points goal being 250. You earn or you lose trophies depending on your rank, other player's ranks and the place you ended up in at the end of the quickplay game.
By playing in quickplay rooms, you will earn crates based on your position:

• 1st place will get a gold crate
• 2nd place will get a silver crate.
• 3rd place will get a bronze crate.
• 4th-6th places will get a basic crate.

You will also be earning a lot of battle points for the battle pass.
In customs, a player will have made a room for players to join. Custom rooms may have up to 10 players per room, but for it to be ranked, the minimum players it must have is 4 players and the maximum players it can have is 8 players. In customs, you can play with other players and with your friends.

Lobby

In the lobby, you will be able to choose your powers that you would like to play. Once you are readied up by clicking the Play button, you will be able to see the powers that your opponents have chosen.
You will be able to see the settings that the room have on by the right side of the player list.

Joining the matches

To join a match, you can either click Quickplay or Join match on the front page in-game.
In quickplay, you will be queued up against 5 other players.
By clicking the Join Match option, you will be able to find rooms that are available and you can join matches that are either open or playing.
You will also be able to see what rank the room is as well.
If you have joined a match that is currently playing, you will be able to join the queue by clicking on the match list button on the left side of the in-game chat and then click Join queue. This will help you get a spot in the room quicker than waiting for the game to end and clicking the spectator icon in the lobby.

Leaving the matches

While playing in a match, there will be a button on the top right of the screen to leave the match. It will ask if you want to abandon the match, however, abandoning matches may lead you to lose a lot of trophies.
