Match settings

When creating a match, you will see many different settings to make a room.

  • Name: You can name your room anything appropriate.
  • Access: You can choose how players wants to access your room; Public will make it accessible to everyone, Protected can only be accessed by password or if your friend is in that room, Private is only accessible by password.
  • Password: Where you put a password for the room if the room has either Protected or Private access.
  • Spectators: You can allow or disallow spectators to join / spectate the game.
  • Game mode: FFA is where every player is playing for their own. VIP Teams is where you play in a team with limited powers (blue and green powers) and play as a team to reach 6 points. (see gamemodes for more info on gamemodes)
  • Game mode variant: Normal FFA is a room for 1-10 players. Camp is for players who would like to camp for a camp record.
  • Ranked: Ranked is where players can earn or lose trophies (rank). Unranked is where player's can't earn or lose trophies.
  • Ranked boundary: You can choose the minimum and maximum rank for the room that players must have between to join the room.
  • Powers: Normal is where everyone can use their powers that they have unlocked. None is where no one can use powers. Custom is where you can limit what powers can and can't be used.
  • Power Amount: You can choose to play with either 2 or 3 powers.
  • Pickups: Pickups spawns randomly in the game and you can choose to enable or disable it. You can also customise it to allow which pickups to show up in the game.
  • Turrets: Turrets are little rockets that players can control to attack other players once they are dead.
  • Map size: This setting chooses what size the map will be.
  • Target score: This is the points score that players aim to get to win the game; it depends on the amount of players in the room.

Modifiers

These are some settings which can change the game play:

  • Cooldown speed: Your powers can become longer or shorter depending on the modifier.
  • Attack damage: Stealing points from other players may be lower or higher depending on modifier.
  • Gap frequency: Your line may create more or less holes depending on the modifier.
  • Curve speed: Your line may be faster or slower depending on the modifier.
  • Curve rotation: Your line may curve smaller or bigger depending on the modifier.
  • Curve size: Your line may be fatter or skinnier depending on the modifier.

Saving pre-sets and resetting settings

When you have made your favorite settings, now knowing what each settings do, you can save your settings so you don't have to keep re-putting the settings on each time you create a match.
To save your pre-set, you can click on the bookmark icon to open the presets menu.
Then click the save new preset button or click the save icon on any of the existing presets.
To load back a preset just open the presets menu and click on your preset.

If you want to reset your match settings, you can press on the little gear icon in the highlighted area in this picture to reset your match settings.
