Gamemodes

In Curve Fever Pro, there are several playable gamemodes.
These modes are all a bit different to have some variation in your matches.
The most notable difference is that we have FFA and Team modes.
This page will go over all the different modes.

FFA - Classic

Classic FFA is the main mode for Curve Fever Pro, used in Quickplay and most of custom matches. Everyone fights against everyone, with a maximum of 10 players.

The goal of normal FFA is to gather points by [surviving](https://wiki.curvefever.pro/survival "surviving") and by [stealing](https://wiki.curvefever.pro/scoring "stealing") from others, until the points goal is reached by at least 1 player. The point goal starts at 50 for a game with 2 players, and increases by 50 for every players (10 players = 450 points).

The final ranking is then determined by the amount of points each individuals gathered, after one player won the game. ex:

In this mode, you are free to pick any 2 powers from the ones you have unlocked to form endless combinations.

Importantly, normal FFA is ranked only if there are no added custom modifiers (apart from pickups), and the amount of players is between 4 and 8.

TEAMS - Classic

Classic teams can only be played throughout custom matches.
This mode is played with 2 to 4 teams, ranging from 2 vs. 2 to 5 vs. 5 but also 3 vs 3 vs 3 and 2 vs 2 vs 2 vs 2.

The goal of Classic Teams is to gather points by surviving and by stealing from others, until the points goal is reached by at least 1 team.
The points from all players in a team are summed together and this is the team score.

The target score is determined by the amount of players in the match and the amount of teams.
The formula is 50 * (players - 2) * playersInTeam so for 2v2v2 it's 50 * (6 - 2) * 2 = 400

In this mode, you are free to pick any 2 powers from the ones you have unlocked to form endless combinations.

TEAMS - Survival

Survival teams can only be played throughout custom matches.
This mode is played with 2 to 4 teams, ranging from 2 vs. 2 to 5 vs. 5 but also 3 vs 3 vs 3 and 2 vs 2 vs 2 vs 2.

The goal of this mode is to out-survive the opposing team(s).
When all opponents of an opposing team die your team will score 1 point.
The goal will be to reach a certain amount of points with your team.

The target score increases by 6 for each opposing team, so with 2 teams it would be 6 and with 4 teams it would be 18.

In this mode, you are free to pick any 2 blue passive powers or green fevers you have unlocked.

Important details:

  • Green powers does not have their usual stealing power.
  • Blue power's cooldown differs from normal FFA.

1v1

This is basically the same as FFA Classic but then you only have one opponent.
This mode has it's own rankings and leaderboard.

Camp

Camping is a different mode played solo and can be accessed throughout custom matches.
The goal of the camp mode is to survive for as long as possible in a smaller squared map. Powers are not allowed and there are no gaps, making it a good way to improve control of your ship. There are 4 camp map size:

Camp sizes

Normal size (360 x 360 px)⭐

XS size (230 x 230 px)

Medium size (430 x 430 px)

Large size (500 x 500 px)

tipTo maximize your time, try to prioritize straight lines over wiggling too much.

Example:

**If you think your camping record deserves to be seen, share it with us on our Official Discord Server! Worthy scores will be featured in the All Time Camping Leaderboard. Note that the leaderboard only has records for the Normal camping map size.
